Clinical Pharmacist – Full-time 2nd shift
Job Description – Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children is seeking to fill a second shift clinical pharmacist position. Duties include order verification, central pharmacy distribution, sterile product distribution, pharmacokinetic consults and responding to emergency codes. Pharmacists play an integral role in the healthcare team at Huntsville Hospital and are relied on heavily for clinical and operational expertise. The position is four 10 hour shifts per week with shifts starting at 1030, 1100 and 1130 and includes a weekend rotation of every fourth weekend. As a second shift pharmacist, you will receive second shift differential pay for all second shift hours worked. Pharmacists accrue Earned Time Off (ETO) at a generous rate with a 100% cash-in option. Residency or previous hospital experience along with pediatric experience are desired, but not required.
