Oncology Clinical Specialist – Full-time 1st shift (Mon-Fri)
Job Description – Huntsville Hospital is seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our dynamic pharmacy team. The pharmacist will rotate between inpatient and outpatient settings, including the practices listed above, working alongside a collaborative group of experts who value precision, compassion, and innovation. Our comprehensive oncology services span inpatient, outpatient, and pediatric care—including an adult outpatient chemotherapy infusion clinic, a gynecologic oncology clinic, and the St. Jude Clinic serving pediatric hematology/oncology patients. The pharmacist will partner with oncologists, Advanced Practice Providers, and nursing teams as a core member of the multidisciplinary care model. The pharmacist will also serve as a core preceptor for our PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program, PGY-2 Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Residency Program, as well as pharmacy students on rotation, and will provide periodic continuing education to departmental staff. Completion of PGY-1 and PGY-2 oncology residencies or equivalent clinical experience is strongly preferred. BCOP certification is required within 2 years of hire.
