Clinical Pharmacist – Full-time 2^nd shift (5-on/ 5-off, 2-on/ 2-off)

Job Description – Huntsville Hospital is seeking to fill a second shift position, in which the employee will work 50% at HH Main and 50% at HH Women’s and Children’s. This is a very unique role that allows pharmacists to experience adult/critical care, as well as pediatrics and women’s health. The schedule is designed specifically to maximize work-life balance by providing a set schedule. The hours are 1130-2200. While the per-pay period hours only total 70, the pharmacist is compensated for 72 hours and receives 2^nd shift differential pay. Earned Time Off (ETO) accrual is generous, and the schedule allows the pharmacist to take extended time off with limited use of ETO. Huntsville Hospital also allows 100% cash-in option for ETO. Pharmacists play an integral role in the healthcare team at Huntsville Hospital and are relied on heavily for clinical and operational expertise. Duties include order verification, central pharmacy distribution, sterile product distribution, initiation of pharmacokinetic consults, and responding to emergency codes, such as Code Blue Alerts, Heart Alerts, and Stroke Alerts. Pharmacists  also have the ability to pick up extra shifts if desired.
